Going into perfection is moving into a season of a higher obedience, where we use the light of love rather than use the light of faith. The knowledge of salvation, or of the truth that is in the Father, or of the unknown, is the only prescription for this, for therein is the comfort of the true light that would help us see the end of all things.
The righteousness judgments surrounding this faith, also help us to undress all thoughts; to see through their motives and discern those that want to snatch life from us on one hand, while offering us worldly sweets/dainties on the other hand.
What the light of the epistles seek to do, is to help all men as it exposes to them, the actual hope designed for their souls which is meant to anchor our souls on our voyage/journey back to God. It enlightens us on how to place the right value on the economy/lifestyle that Christ’s faith offers, so they can become free from the grip/influence of this world and of things present; and also free to serve or truly love the Lord (1Cor. 6:12, Lk. 1:74).
The world resident in men and through men can only make us feel insecure or look/think inferior with our consent, and it can only secure such consent from us through our ignorance of the promise of inheriting God’s life. There is something that overcoming this world and the wicked one means to God; and it must mean the same thing to us.
The Father likes to see that our greatest contentment, desire, pursuit and prayer in life, is to have eternal life, even the same life that committed Jesus to leave the throne for the earth. The only answer to a corrupt life is an incorruptible life and it deserves much more attention than we have given to other legitimate but corrupt-prone chapters of life.
Those whose goal is to inherit eternal life or to sit on God’s throne shouldn’t do less. It should be our deepest daily longing, meditation and the main investment drive of our souls.
The devil doesn’t have what it takes to limit any believer from becoming all that God has called him to be; from being exactly like Christ Jesus! Without coming through the separations of FAITH, HOPE, CHARITY, into the consecration of LOVE, no man can see God.
To take a man’s eyes completely off himself and to place it on the Lord is a working miracle that is guaranteed only by the New Testament. The epistles are the training/instruction manuals to get this done, so we can be enabled to live perhaps 90% differently; live from above like Jesus and His apostles did.
Like most developments in companies don’t earn the attention of great CEO’s, so also do most happenings on earth don’t earn the personal attention of the devil! But when an activity involves the transportation and nurturing of the seed of God (1Pet. 1:22-23/1Jn. 3:9), he fights it until he either overcomes the carrier of that precious seed (2Pet. 2:20/1Tim. 1:19-20/Jude 1:11-12) or until he is overcome in the process (Jn. 14:30/Rev. 12:11).
The soul of man is a vessel meant to house the treasure called the light of the knowledge of the glory of God! So in Christ Jesus, we learn to LIVE from above, and while living, we MOVE in the right direction – GODWARD.
So God took upon himself for the first time, the responsibility of fathering a son; a pattern son that would bodily bear his image and attain the fullness of his glory (Col. 2:9/Heb. 1:3). The price tag was very high as the trinity for the first time in eternity would be incomplete without the fellowship of God The Word!
So the administration of light remains the most serious project that the godhead has and perhaps would ever undertake. Before God would unveil the world to come (the new heaven and the new earth), the souls of some believers must secure their lots in him and thereby attain His rest (Heb 4).
